Measurements at nanoscale exhibit the inherent difficulty of the positioning and manipulation of the object. An universal interactive tool, operating at scales between the nanometer and the micrometer is highly required, e.g., for providing electric contacts to the outside world.

The main target of this project is to offer an intuitive interface for physicists researchers to pilot AFM Microscopes. The system will be used to position carbon nanotubes using an AFM tip as actuator and a DELTA Force Feedback Device as a scale translator for movement generation by the user.
