High Speed and Quantum-Well Photodetectors
Abstract
This project aims to model high-speed p-i-n and quantum-well photodetectors. It is intended to gain new physical insight as well as to provide a software solution able to cope with advanced and future devices. A particular focus will be on the microscopic physical modeling. The results will be implemented as a new module into the commercially available laser simulator DESSIS-ise.
