6201.1:
The use of a new Al nanocluster in inkjet printing technology

Abstract

Ink-jet printer paper that are based on submicroscopic inorganic solids coated with Al polycations meet the requirements of high-speed high-resolution printing much better than organic polymer paper. Unfortunately, prints on paper with inorganic ink-receptive layers exhibit poor image permanence. We propose to investigate whether and how the recently discovered nanocluster Al30 can influence permanence.
