Basics of the innovation marketing to motivate the entrepreneurs for an investment into the nanometer

Abstract

Time to market is one of the key issues in the for a successful completion of the application and product oriented projects in top nano 21. Due to their highly innovative character and the their technological complexity, these projects are usually not under control of just one enterprise but they have to be to be completed by a joint effort of different partners from science, R&D and manufacturing. The technological and commercial risks involved require new forms of collaboration. Clusters of production and/or services oriented institutions or firms may be an efficient means for financing such projects. The motivation of downstream partners for upstream funding, i.e. funding of R&D without full control of the partners, will likely play a key role in funding. The challenge is to create a so-called win-win-situation for all partners.
Within this project the key factors of success for the motivation of downstream entrepreneurs to invest into the nanometer shall be worked out and verified in several practical cases.
