5479.2:
Nanoreplication

Abstract

The project will establish a competence network (Alliance) for the replication of nanostructured surfaces by hot embossing, uv-casting and injection moulding. Main goal of this phase of the project is the completion of the portfolio of technologies and processes existing at CSEM, PSI and KATZ/FHA. It will investigate the limits of nanoreplication as well as establish expertise for the practical, commercial production of replicated, nanostructured elements.
The project is a direct continuation of NanoRep1, which is running from 8/2000 to 7/2001.
