Electrodeposited magnetic nanowires for sensor and memory applications
Abstract
The aim of the project is the realisation of prototypes of magnetic sensors and magnetic RAM (M-RAM) by the method of electrodeposition in track etched membrane templates. During the first stage of the project a Spin-Valve structure will be electrodeposited inside the nanowires. In a second step, different strategies for contacting individually many nanowires will be tested and optimised. Reading and writing processes will then be applied to this structure for the realization of the first electrodeposited M-RAM demonstrator.
