Abstract
Fabrication technology and application competence for large scale two dimensional probe arrays for life science applications is proposed to be established The exploring cantilever designs will feature integrated functionalities for life science investigations such as actuation, deflection/force/torsion detection , tip functionalization and heating ,etc all capable to operate in a liquid environment. The array compatibility will be demonstrated by the fabrication and imaging operation of a small scale two dimensional array at the end of the project.
