Flame-made vanadia/titania catalysts for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx
Abstract
Flame-made vanadia/titania nanoparticles have recently proven to be excellent catalysts for NO removal from exhaust gases. A feasibility study is proposed to investigate the possibility to produce 100 g of V2O5/TiO2 nanoparticles. Larger amounts of this material will allow to test its performance on a technical level and make föame aerosol synthesis an industrial process for catalyst manufacturing.
