The International Nano Conference 2003 and Fair for Innovation and Market Entries with Nanotechnologies is the international platform focusing on Nanoscience and Nanotechnologies, addressing science and the business sector alike. It is a meeting point for scientists, Engineers, exhibitors, and visitors in the centre of Europe.
The first focal point of this Nanoplatform is the Nano Conference on Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies which will bring together internationally recognized scientists and entrepreneurs of different disciplines. They will discuss Nanotechnologies, their application and successful implementation of products for the market in fields like Life Sciences, Tools & Sensors, Optics & Electronics, Materials and Surfaces. The topics are complemented with exhibitions and presentations from Service Providers, Consultants and Organizations from the field of Education and Training Programs as well as Research.
TOP NANO 21, the Swiss Technology oriented Program is the co-organizer of the Nano Conference. The Annual Meeting 2003 TOP NANO 21 will be held in the context of the Nano Conference. This is a milestone in the transition of the Technology oriented Program of the board of the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology to the new domain "Nanotechnologies and Microsystems" of the Commission of Technology and Innovation (CTI). Over 200 project results will be explained at the Nano Conference's poster session. Leading project partners from research and economy will present exceptional results at the conference.
The second focus is the dedicated exhibition for industry, R&D institutions and service providers. The exhibition will be the meeting point for experts from academia and industry allowing the exchange of information, on an international level, regarding Nanotechnology-based products already on the market, new applications for Nanotechnologies and competencies in research at universities and in industry.
